Ok, well the last few weeks i have noticed that when i have my laptop off of the charger the internet connection drops off. but i can click on the icon for the network i can leave it pulled up and it will reconnect. this computer that is having this issue on the network. we have another laptop running wireless.

when i have my laptop off of the charger the internet connection drops off

it may be a power setting to switch off the adapter after a certain time of none use

control panel>power options - see whats set there

The power saver option is unchecked. I rolled back the driver and I think that has fixed it.
