This is really starting to irritate me. This has been going on for the last week on and off, me internet will just bog down to dial up speeds, and I will get massive packet drop for hours on end.
I have: msconfig'd services on and off to test for a broken service, changed router password, switched from dynamic to static IP's, enabled and disabled spi firewall/software firewall, enabled and disabled upnp, clean booted modem and router.
I am at a lose as to what to do, it won't even let me connect to my modem to check signal levels, which were fixed by comcast about 6 months ago anyways.
Pingtest and speedtest all show 0% packet loss and A+ across the board ever time, only long tests like the line test show it, also the ling test reports 100% loss for medium and high bandwidth streams, but that has always been the case.

I am at a loss as to what to do it seems like basic internet browsing is fine until I connect to Steam/AIM/Vent/ and any game, as a gamer this is pretty much making my days after work as boring as possible.
