Solved: Network Adaptor not showing as enabled
I have a HP G62 laptop with windows 7 and a Atheros AR9285 wifi adapter.

The Wireless Assistant shows the WLAN as disabled. In the device manager, the adapter is listed as enabled. When I push the F12 key that turns on and off the wireless, the wireless assistant alternates between showing the WLAN as Off or Disabled. I tried disabling the adapter and re-enabling it from the device manager, but the wireless assistant still shows it as disabled.

The wireless was working earlier today.

If anyone has any ideas on what else I could try, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Nick

Thanks etaf. I downloaded the driver from that site, but it did not improve the issue. however, I updated the driver from device manager, and that seemed to do the trick. up and running now.

Thanks again.
