a review
things to try for wireless issues

Confirm each of the following

1) remove any firewall / security suites with the removal tools
2) Does it work with a cable connected
3) Other wireless devices all work OK
4) Update the driver by actually downloading and installing - not just using update
5) remove the adapter and let windows re-install
6) try safe mode with networking
7) xirrus screen shot - showing wireless networks
8) status of all the services
9) reseat the adapter and check aerial

lets work through each number

and provide an answer for each on what you actually have done
for example - some detail on each
2) used a cable - and it works on the internet OK with a cable connected

ok,
1) remove any firewall / security suites with the removal tools (i already remove AVG and Smadav)
2) Does it work with a cable connected (it works with cable connected)
3) Other wireless devices all work OK (bluetooth not work too)
4) Update the driver by actually downloading and installing - not just using update (how to do ?)
5) remove the adapter and let windows re-install (how to do ?)
6) try safe mode with networking (already done)
7) xirrus screen shot - showing wireless networks (already done)
8) status of all the services (how to do ?)
9) reseat the adapter and check aerial (how to do ?)

we can cover each of the questions and your reply one by one

Quote:
3) Other wireless devices all work OK (bluetooth not work too)
I meant other devices - pcs phones etc - will they connect to the router wireless

if bluetooth is also not working - then it maybe the on/off control for wireless and bluetooth

Check the wireless is switched ON
theres often a physical switch or a combination of the FN and one of the F keys to toggle the wireless on/off - is the wireless on?
------------------------------------------------------------------------

next we can try changing the security on the router
