Angry Ipod wont stay connected to internet
For some reason my ipod wont stay connected to the internet my computer does and the rest of my familys but mine is the only one for some reason help!!!!!! this has been going on since we got the new router its a netgear wnd2000v2 i think i have to check

it maybe a DNS issue
try using
google open DNS
see how here

well one thing is that during the day my ipod stays connected but past nine o clock pm it wont conncet wtf?

thats interesting - maybe theres a rule in the router causing that issue - would not expect that to be a DNS issue

have you tried any wireless hotspots or friends wireless networks - do they all work OK and also past 9pm ?

no i havent been over to any of my friends house's latley. we got our new router about 2 weeks ago its a netgear should i change a setting in the network?

i will try to connect to a different network past nine if possible.

WNDR3400v2 is what i have ive checked the settings for the router there is nothing set for shutting internet of for certian devices set. i will keep searching for more info will keep you updated...

and its only started happening since you used the new router

have a look at parental controls also advanced setup and the Quality of Service (QoS) Setup

plus i resovled those issues with avg anti virus already but good job looking up the refrences. plus if i had a virus it would be in the computer not in the network/rounter

ok i know its been a while since ive posted on this thread but im still having the same issues. my ipod will not stay connected past 9-10 pm. ive checked the parental controls and everything on the router nothing seems to be activated i will look again since that was a while back.

try it somewhere else and see if you have the issue after 9pm
on a friends router
