My DSL keeps going out
Are you new to DSL. I 've had mine for a year now and have installed DSL on other's puters and I noticed a trend. The first 60 days seem to have the most difficulties. I noticed now lately if I do a defrag or any kind of maintenance on my pc, when I go to boot up, the connection manager will say it encountered a problem and cannot connect. I cancel out of that error and then click on the start/stop button and then it connects.

What reason does it give for disconnecting you?

Does it happen often? What have you tried? Have you used the reset on the modem? Does it reconnect easily after a disconnect? More info may help find a solution sooner.

Many know me here, I have had DSL for about 2 years, and I keep getting disconnected about every hour or two.
I have run adaware, spybot, and HJT and Derek declared me free of spyware.
So I don't think this is necessarily a problem of yours!
