New MOBO (MachSpeed) and Vista. Problem: Can go on line with this computer when
connected directly to the Modem but when connected thru the router, nothing. The router does not even recognize the lan card. Computer shows the Lan card is working but get a message saying NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET.
Lights are flashing on the Lan card but it stops there.
Have been talking to D-Link, Machspeed, Cax Cable and no one can help.
Upon hooking up the old computer (WINXP PRO) to the router it works fine along with
the other computers in the house.
Any help would be appreciated

TWO Methods to do that - some people have problems with ONE----

A little more on the Beldon router. It worked fine for a while on vista. the problem was with a wireless phone freq. Changing the wireless channel in the router did the trick for good. The problem was due to invironmental interferance.
