Can you get standard uk TV channels on your PC for free, cheep or less than cable or sky?. How do you go about it? What do you need? where to get from? Would be intrested in sport, movies, music and things like sky one, uk gold, itv, bbc and everthing els, lol. Thanks for your time Doj

In general, satellite Internet will be more expensive and much more limiting than any wired solution.

I believe he is talking about watching TV on your PC...

Anyways, all of those "Get TV on your PC" outfits are scams. Plus most are illegal.

waste of money
SatTVonPC is a scam. It does not provide access to anything more than is already available online. It simply provides a GUI of links to archives and channels which broadcast free items on their own. A little searching and you can set up a list of favorites links from which you can do the same thing as the $50 program. Try www.freetvonline.com and search for "channelchooser", theses sites offer between 500-1000 of these links and will give you an idea of what the SatTVonPC programmes will do. Better still, check the websites for the stations you are most interested in and check their archives. My wife is from central Europe living in USA and she has a favorites list of the channels she used to watch at home and actually gets more of their programming here than she would there! Dont waste your money on those of those programs...

There are many devices that you can purchase that will achieve, either wired or wirelessly, but I don't think you're going to get the results you're looking for.
