problem with Netgear FVS114
I am having a problem with my Netgear firewall. Every so often (2-3 times per week), I cannot access the internet, and I have to pull the plug on the firewall for 30 seconds, then plug it back in, and it will work fine for a while.

The unit is only about 4-5 months old, so I emailed Netgear support, and am waiting to hear back from them where to send the unit for a replacement, but in the meantime, I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else has had problems with the FVS114, and how they were resolved.

Thanks in advance!

I have the same model - - - found out from a friend that when he experienced the same problem he called Netgear and found that this model is good for home use - - the buffer becomes full and just stops working. I ran a bandwidth test today with this model and got 34 Mbps - - then replaced with a Linksys and got 55 Mbps - - this is on the Ethernet connection with my ISP - - using their speed test link.
