Solved: Netopia 3341
I just got a new Netopia 3341 and when I was installing it I put in the wrong user ID. Now I get a screen that asks for the Netopia user name and password. I think the user name is admin but I don't know for sure and I don't know what the password is at all. I need to know how to correct this problem.

If you're asking about the default see the user guide. If you changed the user name or password and can't remember it, reset the router to factory default settings.

Since it's new, resetting it shouldn't be an issue, right?

I did push the reset button but that didn't help. I'm afraid that it will take me awhile to wade through the technical stuff since I'm really not very technical!

To reset to factory default settings you have to hold the reset button for 10 to 20 seconds or whatever the manual specifies.

I suggesting trying this from the run line.

telnet 192.168.1.1

This router uses TELNET for configuration, you might want to read the Getting Started Guide

I finally got good tech support at ATT and he knew what the password was.

Does that router have a web based setup? I couldn't find a description of it in the manual.
