Netgear wireless adapter keeps scanning channels
Hi, I'm running W98 plus and I have had the netgear WG311 v3 adapter hooked up to this comp. in the past and it worked fine. We removed it to put on another comp. we then switched it back to current comp. and everything installed fine and it appears as though it is connecting to our router and then it will just keep scanning through the channels and the comp. will slow down. I never get the connected to the internet alert and when I press ctrl+alt+del There are 10 or more ipconfig commands opening up. and winoldap keeps opening up. I tried to uninstall and reinstall 4 different times. I'm not sure what I can do from here. Is this a wireless adapter issue you think or computer issue, anyone have any ideas.
I have tried the netgears site for troubleshooting, and their site is useless.

That isn't the adapter, you have to have some other issue currently with that computer!

first of all uninstal the driver of wg311 v3 than put out the card from the computer ,after that restart the computer and refresh it. now shut down the computer and put back the card into the PC again ,now start the computer again , the screen show new hardware found ,now again install the driver. and test it . IT WORK PROPERLY.
