Exclamation Networking with XP BLACK
My movie server uses a modified version windows xp pro (Build 2600.xpsp061012-0254) xp black

i have created a network/workgroup

but everytime I try to connect to the server from the laptop i have to enter a user name and password first

the server sees all the other computers in my house but none of the computer can see the server except "ping.exe" i have to use explorer/remote desktop to open the server

i just want to be able to able to access my files from workgroup/server

"does any one know in what country this site is?"
