Unhappy Packard Bell is making my life hell!! Please help with driver info!!
I have just reformatted my parents Packard Bell iMedia R801 desktop pc with WinXP SP2, however the dvd "software library" that came with it isn't working I'm not even sure it has the drivers on it anyway. But my problem is i need the drivers for this model in particular the network driver as the card isn't registering, i have the ethernet cable in and it is connected but won't register the card which is a "Intel ICH6 PRO/100 VE" i also put in another network card "Realtek RTL8169/8110 Gigabit ethernet adapter" cos i thought the card was just stuffed but alas it still can't find it...i have looked on the packard bell website for support but it doesn't even have the model on it and I'm sick of waiting on hold for the tech support, if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciative!! Thank you for reading my rant <<
