Hi There,
Currently im using a Belkin router in PPOE but want to change it to a Static IP (for hosting). I can acess the router and click on static Ip however i need to enter a bunch of settings for it to work (wan Ip, Subnet Mask, Gateway Ip, VPI/VCI and Encapsulaion. I have tried ipconfig and can find some of the information but not all? PLZ HELP?

You would get the static IP and other necessary information from your ISP.

In other words you need a much better understanding of networking. Your local ipconfig results have nothing to do with the wan side of your router. If you want a static ip for your wan port you need to talk to your ISP. They are the only ones that can give you one.

There's probably an additional monthly charge for a static IP address.

Many people just use Dynamic DNS if they are hosting a personal website and are worried about their IP changing. I use NO-IP.com, but there are several other places that do Dynamic DNS as well.
