cant connect to internet with new computer but can with my laptop
Hi,

I got a new computer and when i connect the internet cable from my modem, the computer won't detect a connection and when I connect the cable to my laptop the internet works fine.

I got onto the ISP and they said i don't need to install any drivers,
they said I would have to reset my network card

How do i rectify this problem

Thanks

Actually, what you need to do is to turn off the modem for 30 seconds whenever you change the attached device.

You can solve these issues and have both connected by using a broadband router.
