Is zone alarm an anti-virus program? I've tried getting rid of mine but it still won't let me. Its pretty depressing haha I just don't know what to do. Thanks for having a go though

Try connecting the machine with a wired connection and see if you can get connected.

I've tried the wired connection before and I get the same message that the network is unidentifiable. I think it may have something to do with my security settings like avistor was getting into...but i really don't have a clue ha. I just miss my internet

Problem solved! When i was playing computer fixer guy and looking through my task manager services i noticed i had 2 firewalls!!! One of which decided to go on to complete lockdown when I had that virus. I feel like such an idiot because most of the problems are firewall ones I just didn't notice I had 2! Sorry about this I greatly appreciated your help anyways and thankyou!

In my experience, I find people go a little overboard with protection, to the point they lock themselves down. Glad you figured it out.
