NetGear Router stopped working I have a NetGear Router WGR615 v5. I have had it for a couple years now and no problems - I have two laptops, a desktop and ps3 and it has worked great. Last night, all of sudden, I lose my internet connection. All machines still show the connection and I can view and access other computers in the network but I can't access the internet through the router.
I hooked up my desktop directly to the moden and there is no problem getting online that way. I unplugged the router and restarted computers several times and that didn't help.
All light are working on the router..it shows an internet connection. The "check" light isn't on but I don't remember if that is one that is supposed to stay on.
I noticed under "connection status" that packets are being sent but none are being received.
Does anyone have any ideas why I the connection would just stop? |
