Have Vista? Internet games? Check here to speed up your network connection
If this helped you, then reply saying so..More reply's = more attractiveness to people who need help

Every 30 seconds to 2minutes, vista refreshes its network connection, this can cause lag in games such as WOW and other demanding applications that run off the internet. Some games have been
reported to even crash because of it, making some almost unplayable. But there are programs to change that safely and easily, and it will make everything internet wise, run smoother.

Both of these programs will fix that...and give you faster Online Games:
(only 1 is required...although i do recommend the first one)
___________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________

The all mighty Vista Anti-lag:
http://www.codecase.de/en/downloads/folder/2-vista-anti-lag
(2 downloads, rar and exe available)
:

Features:
- Removing 'Lag Spikes' \ 'Lag Peaks'
- No dropouts with Skpye & VoiceOverIP
- Download stuff at full speed without any hassle.
- Less Lag in games and applications on Windows Vista
- Best thing is, its FREE!
Simply select your wireless card if not already selected, click activate VAL, and bye bye lag spikes.

Here is an Example of what this program does

While VAL is inactive, this is your general internet connection

But while activated, this is the result.

No spikes... and no more lagging because of them

Alternative program

And this program does the same thing, just more Automatic and might or might not work with your card.

Wlan Optimizer:
http://www.martin-majowski.de/wlanop.../downloads.php

This program automatically syncs itself with your wireless card and activates whenever a connection is available.

Without the optimizer

With the Optimizer:

These programs can be used in conjunction or separately...whatever they both do the same thing.......

If you experience any problems with these programs, post them here so i can try to help you...

I doubt I'd recommend anyone download an unknown program from a Rapidshare account and run it! I'd stick with known applications, and I recommend others to do the same.

There's always usually a possibility when running certain things like that there there could be a virus in it.
There is a somewhat well-known image-uploading website that I think currently has an ad or something on it that has a high possibility of containing a virus. At least, that's a message I get when I go to the website.

And there's a much BIGGER possibility that a totally unknown application is a risk.

Both apps appear clean as far as viruses or malware (click and click), but I would be wary because they could still wreak havoc on your PC. Be especially wary of the Rapidshare one.

There, a very usable guide...and i got a better link!!!!
No more rapid share, directly from a reliable, but not exactly English source. Not that you really need to know that language to download though.

Enjoy!!!

Edit:
Sorry, formatting didn't work right....the words were different but not the hyperlink....FIXED

Different source, I would still be wary.

It could be a bait and switch type thing. Post one link, it scans fine without viruses, then "Ok I changed it to a new better link." The new link has malware in it.

Not likely, and it's not like I don't trust the OP or anything, I'm just saying...
Be careful.

i agree but....its impossible to prove for sure something isn't virus, spyware, adware, keylogger, ect. You guys can all check if you want...really.....post your results here from various sources..

And...to tell you the truth....there is no truly safe download site...Unless you guys have a better place for me to upload or something.

(wow i try to help people and all i get is all this MAY NOT BE SAFE junk....really if you think it unsafe check it yourself!! Then tell people if a file is safe or not)

I'm not saying it's not safe - it's probably fine - I'm just saying better safe than sorry. You always want to be careful when running an unknown program that modifies your OS settings.

Just trying to help.

For me, one of my computer's had a hard drive crash last week, and there is little chance of reviving the system, so I have to be even more cautious than I normally am. That PC also had a good firewall on as well, so for me, it's definitely not worth the risk, even though it's a good chance they are fine.

I don't think you'll find many results with people using it less than a week after they had a computer crash.
