OK, the sleep issue is totally different. Two things you can try.

Update the wireless drivers to the latest available for your adapter.
In Device Manager, disable any power saving options for the wireless adapter.

Done. Didn't change anything.

It says the latency in my game is fine, but I keep getting disconnected. DHCP is disabled, and everything is set manually. It says the speed is perfect, but I still have minor problems in my internet browser with connectivity through pages, and disconnection problems in the game.

I noticed that when I'm connecting to the internet, the packets are slow. It shows activity for 1-3 seconds, and then nothing, then about 4 seconds later, it shows activity for 1-3 seconds. It isn't like this for all internet pages, but when it happens, I usually end up waiting for a long, long time, until I open up another page, which gets the packet activity working again.

So, I'm sending packets fine... It's just that I'm having a small problem receiving... What does this mean?

Hard to say, if it's wireless then I'd be looking for wireless interference. Perhaps changing channels...

Yea. I'm limited to 3 (1, 6, and 11). 11 doesn't look good, and neither does 6... I'm on 1 right now, and whenever I switch, I get a perfect connection for about 5-10 minutes, and then it slows down. 1 seems fine, but the connection problems still persist.

Okay, right now, I'm sitting next to the router. 192.168.0.1 is my gateway. While next to the router, I have a slower internet speed than while in my own room. When I was in my room, I tried pinging my gateway 500 times. I got an 11% packet loss. While in the room of the gateway, I did the same thing, and got a 0% packet loss. After some time in the room, the connection speed got better, and shot all the way up to 54 Mbps. Now, I'm pretty certain that it's a connection issue/interference. It's possible that it is an interference, but like I said many times before, I've never had this problem in the past. I have a cellphone that's normally on in the room with my laptop, but that has never given me trouble before. So now I'm starting to think that it's a connection issue, considering that there is a wall between the laptop and the router. I have no clue how this issue started, and I have no clue on how I would fix it, and I'm updated to the most recent wireless Broadcom 802.11g adapter.

First off, if you're too close to the router, you'll actually have signal overload and have worse performance. When I'm testing wireless gear here, I have to put it on the other end of the workbench in order for it to function properly, about 6 feet from the router. Closer, and it causes connection issues and even fails to find the router.

Well, the one and only internet problem I'm having now, is the packet receiving. When I click a link, there's a 66% chance I don't start receiving packets. When the packets aren't received, I cannot connect to my gateway. I always send them, but I have trouble receiving. After clicking 2-8 more times, it works. Do you know if this is a gateway problem?

Any suggestions?

(Works fine on the other computer)
(This is also stopping the buffer process with videos, so I have issues watching them as well - mainly the large videos)

Did you do the router changes I suggested? Does it still happen on a wired connection to the router? I'd for sure upgrade the firmware and reset to defaults and reconfigure for the router.

1.) I don't know what the router changes were
2.) I can't test a wired connection (I wish I could)
3.) How do I upgrade the firmware
4.) How do I reset my router to it's default state?

All I know now is it's the receiving packets.

The first thing to do is change the channel on the router, I like channels 1, 6, and 11 in the US.

I've changed it to all three several times over the course of a week. None of them seem to make it any better.

Internet Speed Test [www.speedtest.net] (To Chicago)

Channel 1 - 33ms Ping; 6732 kbps Download; 2378 kpbs Upload
Channel 6 - 33ms Ping; 6561 kbps Download; 1789 kbps Upload
Channel 11 - 38ms Ping; 6744 kbps Download; 2160 kbps Upload
______________________________________________________
There were some instances where the download/upload completely stopped or got really slow, and then continued on to the speeds above. These were taken with IPv6 Disabled, and Manual configuration with the IPv4. Sites are still responding slowly, and packet problems still persist. And I still get the same dropped signal notification between the gateway and the internet.

This is a netstat summary of my connections. This is when I have a manual connection setup, with Firefox open. Set to broadcast channel 1.

Can you find anything wrong with this summary?

Like before, the connection from the gateway to the router keeps disconnecting, and that causes me to not have a valid IP config for some time. When I see that my connection is local only, and is not connected to the internet, I go to Google on my browser, and it immediately kicks in.

I'm at a loss as to why you can't test a wired connection, it's a logical next step to diagnosing this issue.
