How can I determine my computer's IP address?

I'd like to know how can I determine my computer's IP address.

what os

for win98/me go to start/run/type winipcfg and press enter, hit the more info button(make sure you current modem is selected in the drop down box)

for win2k/xp go to command prompt, type ipconfig /all

You might also want to try the widely popular STANFORD TRACEROUTE. It will not only give you your IP address, it is a very useful tool for trouble-shooting slow response time (if you look at the "site speed" thread in the "site comments and suggestions" forum you will see several examples of how this can be of value).
