Exclamation Intel PRO/100M Network Adapter Link Down
At intermittent intervals, my Intel PRO/100 M adapter loses link, which post warning to event log. It immediately comes back up (with Link up informational post) and reestablishes connection. My wireless connected computers likewise lost internet connection, resulting in momentary loss of internet connection. Frustratingly, it always interrupts the VPN connection I use for work.

I've updated drivers, etc. Device seems to be working properly except for these frequent (7-8 times per day) interruptions.

Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks

Can we assume these PCs are connected to a router or switch? If they are all losing connection intermittently, it would seem likely the fault may be with the router or switch, rather than your NIC.

D Link router. all computers don't lose connectivity each time. VPN always recycles as its susceptible to momentary spikes in signal strength

But, they do all lose connection randomly? I'd still suspect the router.
