Intranet not connecting
I want to use this bookig system application on my LAN network. It is an Internet Browser (No add-ins) application. When I go to it it just says cannot display the page. When I diagnosed it, it said could not connect to Intranet. What is Intranet. I looked on wikipedia and I now think it is a local area internet. Do I have to install IIS or something else to get Intranet connection.

Not nearly enough information to even guess.

What is the exact application and what are you trying to connect to? Obviously, if it's a browser, you'd have to have a web server on the other end.

OK the Application i am trying to use is a Booking system for my network computers. It uses Local Internet (I think is known as intranet) to connect to application. Does anybody know if anything is required on either Server or Desktop to connect to the intranet.

There still isn't enough information to hazard a guess. The application is obviously trying to connect to some type of server or network system. It doesn't matter what's installed on your desktop. The device and the program don't know where to look for the required back end system. You have to install and configure that back end.

Intranet not connecting
i agree with DoubleHelix's comments, this program must have to configure with the app server. so please make sure it is configured properly before you use.

It is designed so people can create their own version of it so it must just connect to the Networks Server somehow or a similar resource.

Well, knowing what that "similar resource" is supposed to be is a key component in even guessing what the issue is!

I sense that you have no real idea what this applications is used for. The obvious question is, what are you trying to accomplish?
