It was a like a dream too... Apparently after an update that happened last night, I was ready to go to school and just shut down my computer. I come home from school today and find that I'm back at Limited Connectivity... I just have the worst luck...

I can't believe this is a real solution to the issue.

Well, there is no solution again... It only worked yesterday... And now I'm back at limited connectivity. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are Limited.

I'm wondering... Could my driver be outdated? And could that be the cause of my problem? My Driver Date says 5/3/2007.

>>EDIT<<
I got it to work again... I really don't know how.. I just waited a few minutes my status was Local Only. I switched it back to 10 mbps for the Speed and my internet returned... I have no idea what's going on with my computer. I tried updating the driver (while online) and it said that I already had the latest version.
For some reason, I don't think this is going to be a permanent connection and I'm probably going to lose it again tomorrow and go through the same crap over again... I hope a solution is found soon.

If there's anymore suggestions, I'll definitely be willing to try. Thanks again for the help.

I'd be real tempted to replace the NIC. You can pick up a PCI 10/100 card for pocket change these days.

Well, I'm back with an update. My temporary solution to the problem seems to be shutting down the computer and unplugging it. Then waiting about 5 or more minutes... Plugging the power cord back in and turning the computer on.

Although I get internet access back, there are times were I have to continue this routine because it suddenly loses connection and puts me back to the Limited Connectivity status and replaces my current Network with Unidentified Network.

I'm not sure what the problem is... But if no other solution is found, I may just have to take Gr3iz's advice and buy a new NIC. Because that could certainly be my problem.

I'd still go for the NIC, that sure sounds like the issue.
