Solved: Computer won't stay connected to wireless
Yesterday I started having problems connecting to the wireless internet. It'll work for a webpage or two and then disconnect, although a lot of times the network icon says it's still connected. When I try to repair, sometimes it'll work resetting the network adapter, but then it disconnects after a minute. Other people on the network aren't having problems, and this hasn't happened to me before. I'm using a Compaq Presario F700 series with Windows Vista. I don't have any clue of what's wrong and I can't find a solution that works, any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like the server is kicking you. the reason the network icon says your connected is because you are... to the router but not to the network after the router are u running download managers or limewire. some isp filter copywrite infringement or reconize these programs as spyware. when you reset your net work card windows gets a new ip address until the server reconizes the new ip as u it wont kick u. call your internet service provider because your problem is after the router. that is as long as your signal and connection to the router are good.
