BELKIN 1 MIMO Problem: No Detection
Hi i have Belkin N1 MIMO wireless router and until last night was working fine. I decided to download and install the latest firmware but now the router isnt giving off any signal what so ever. My Laptop, PS3, And PSP cannot detect anything. It's like my router isnt even switched on. I have restored factory defaults, reset and done everything really to try and fix this yet i still cant get it to work. Help please, please dont say the basics such as reset, or make sure broadcast SSID is on coz it is. Thanks in advance

I'd suggest calling Belkin tech support. It sounds like you loaded the wrong firmware, or they had a bad version posted for the router.

Can you access the router's setup screens and see what version of firmware is currently running?

Can you post the EXACT model of the router from the label on the bottom?

I can access the routers page (192.168.2.1) no problem through wired connection. It is F5D8231-4 v 5100. I think it is the firmware that is screwing it up. I installed 5.01.08. Thing is, i thought by restoring factory defaults the firmware would reset too, but it didnt. So i need to find a version earlier than 5.01.05 then it could get working again.
