"Unrecognized Network" problem after disconnecting from VPN in Vista
Here's the scenario:
1. Laptop running Vista SP1 is connected to business network via wired ethernet.
2. User connects to an outside VPN.
3. User disconnects from VPN.
4. Normal internet access is lost. Network and Sharing Center reports that it's connected to an "unrecognized network".
5. Clicking "Diagnose and Repair" gives an option to refresh IP address. Doing so resolves connectivity issues.

The question: How do I fix this and eliminate the need for the user to manually "Diagnose and Repair" every time they disconnect from the VPN?

Any advice is greatly appreciated; thanks in advance!
