Nothing jumps out there.
You mentioned two computers, which one are we working on now, the Toshiba? I really think you need to try a wired connection somewhere.

Damn... dunno what happened... two weeks after the internet went on the fritz it came back online today... out of the blue... thanks for the help... and I still have no idea what happened.

Since you have no access to the modem, whatever that is, my guess is that's where the issue was.
You can mark your own threads solved using the
