And you haven't specified that DNS server to be used on the wireless connection? It's the same as the one used on your internet connection; very strange.

everything is on automatic is there any sort of wireless modem that i can buy that a USB modem can be setup for

You can probably get a wireless router that will work with your Mobile USB card. If I knew the brand and model of your card I would search for <brand> <model> router. For example, if it were the Verizon V740 (I know it isn't, this is an ExpressCard), I would search for Verizon V740 router and find this among other hits. (That article mostly talks about the card, but also specifies a compatible router.)

So, is that a PCMCIA card? Here's a router for both USB and PCMCIA, but I'm confused whether it supports yours.

Better double check before buying. That's the line that confused me; the interface listed is USB, and you said you don't have a USB card.
