Exclamation Computer freezes when it looses wireless internet connection....,.
Right I have a wireless internet connection and every so often it disconnects and I hover my mouse of the icon for the disconnection in the bottom right corner and then the computer freezes. I have an orange - livebox and a speedtouch usb 121g and whenever my internet disconnects the livebox says its connected and the speedtouch stops flashing. When it freezes notihing moves no mouse I cant type and the typical ctrl + alt + del never works. This happens alot and every time I turn my computer off by the power switch and this cant be good for the computer. My computer is a hp if that helps. Oh and it normally freezes during downloading or streaming but does just disconnect randomly. I use windows xp media edition sp3.

I have attached the error messages and there was no way to fix it on microsoft.

Try simply removing KBD.EXE from the startup. This file is only required to use the multimedia keys on the keyboard. See if that resolves the crash issue.

This likely has nothing to do with networking, the freezing is normally a system corruption issue or hardware issues. Have you taken the basic diagnostic steps like memory tests?
