Solved: Connecting Printer to Wireless Router

Hi all,

I have just bought a Linksys wireless broadband router (model: WRT160N) and would like to connect it to my Epson printer (EPSON Stylus CX7300). However, my printer do not have a port for wired connection. Is it possible to connect the printer wireless so that I can print from my laptop without having to connect to the printer via the USB cable.

Hi, and welcome to TSG.

Not with the hardware that you have. The CX7300 only has a USB interface. The WRT160N does not have any USB ports. There may be routers around that have built-in print servers with a USB interface. However they may not work with all printers and most likely will not support any kind of scanning capabilities of a multi-function printer.
