I have been experiencing the same issue. I have been searching the net for a solution and happened upon this site. I added the DNS servers you suggested and Myspace now loads as expected. Thanks so much for the solution!

What I was told
Hey everyone. So last night while on the phone with PeolePC/Earthlink I was told they have been getting a lot of calls with this problem. They are not sure what is going on but they are trying to fix it and at this time there is nothing they can do. So they did take responsibility to me. I'm going to try the different DNS server and see if this works. Thanks

I'd suspect it's probably a routing issue in their network.

Yes, thank you guys a bunch. working for me now. and to think the original new DNS settings they gave ME were completely different than the new ones, and didnt work. I also love the fact that when I mentioned this site by NAME to them, they just laughed and basically said you guys WERE NOT "trained professionals", and not to believe anything on the net about this....talk about a coverup and not admitting theres a problem...
