Question Myspace redirects to Google
Ok, well I was on myspace last night from my computer.. but now everytime I type in the url for myspace even just to log in, it redirects me to google. I've tried opening a new internet browser, and restarting my computer.. i've even installed some "uniblue driverscanner" thing for updates and other things, but it still won't let me go to myspace. How can I get this back to normal, where I can go to and log into myspace?

Looks like something's screwing with your DNS servers. You mentioned going to MySpace but redirects you to a Google page. Same thing happened to me where I went to Google and search for "Elisco Tool & Manufacturing AR-15 lower receiver parts kits" and redirects me to a "How to Get the Most Out of Your Health Insurance" youtube video. Are you running a firewall service or any of those generic firewall/anti-virii/anti-spyware programs? (ie: CA Parental Controls, or something along that line)

Go to the command line (if you're running Vista: press Windows key + R for the Run dialog box) and type in CMD. Upon seeing the C:\ prompt, type in ipconfig /allcompartments /all, then post the results back here. :P

It's also happening to this person, and they're in the same city as you are: http://forums.techguy.org/networking...ease-help.html

That being the case, I think this is a more global issue and not anything you can fix locally. I'd call the ISP and complain.
