Hi,

I have a macbook that is connected to our home wireless router but it is behaving weird.
My wifes' PC laptop is also connected to it and has no problems at all.

I am connected to the router via a cable as I am typing this, so the problem, I assume is with my macbook.

The network does not usually appear in 'available networks' but when it does appear and I select it the WEP key is asked for and when entered the connection times out, it never connects.

Everything seemed to work fine this morning, but then this evening it went pear shaped.
I don't know if it is relavent, but I used to be able to get a connection anywhere in the house or garden but then, in the last couple of weeks I can only get a connection when in the same room as the router. Again, my wifes' PC laptop is unaffected.

If any info is needed let me know what and where to get it and I will provide.
