I just started a new job and one of the technologies that they use is something they refer to as a "DSL LAN". Does anyone know anything about this, because I sure have never heard of it. I'm looking for the basics such as hardware used, topology, protocols, configuration, vendors, etc. Any information about this topic is greatly appreciated.
That is nothing more than a DSL connection to the internet provided by a phone company. While always on just like a cable internet connection, DSL requires you to authenticate with a username and password.
