Unhappy Solved: Help, please!!! Internet connection
Hello, I need major help with a huge problem I am having...
Well heres somthing you might need to know. I had mal ware, then I killed it but it messed with my rundll.exe file so I decided to recover my entire computer. Everything is fine now but I cannot seem to connect or detect my internet.
My modem, and wires are all right, I am on a different computerfrom the same router. I tried this with different wires and tried direct connection.
THe only thing under my Network COnnections is the 1394 connection crap.
Please, I am really frustraded.

If you need any info to help, please just ask.

It is a Gateway GT5012 PC

Using a Recovery partition or Recovery CDs/DVDs, right?

Check in Device Manager to see if you have any warnings or errors. If not, check in the BIOS (Setup) to see if your networking adapter is enabled.

Thanks a BUNCH! I found that I only have one driver in the network adapters, so I went off and downloaded the driver for my network adapter.
And BOOM! I have internet now!
THANKS AGAIN!
