Folder Logging
Hey, I have a Windows Server 2008 that is sharing folders throughout my WLAN and I was wandering; Is there are way I can setup something to log all the actions done in that folder? The other computers on the WLAN are all Windows Vista (Basic & Premium).

Are you running a domain or a workgroup? Here's the page on Server 2008's file access auditing: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...8WS.10%29.aspx

A Workgroup. Another problem is I cannot apply security settings to a certain user on another Workgroup Computer. I can only edit all the remote accounts security settings by setting the "Guests". I want to give a certain user the avalibility to add files and not just read & execute.

I'm guessing you're using some Home version clients and not "business" or "enterprise" versions of Vista. You have much more limited control using a workgroup.
