"No wireless networking device" error in Vista About a week ago, my mom's laptop, a Toshiba Satellite running Windows Vista Home Premium, suddenly disconnected from a wireless network while in use. When I clicked on the networking icon, it showed no networks available. When I clicked on "Diagnose why Windows can't find any networks," it said something like "No wireless networking device installed." A restart corrected the problem. Then, last night, the same thing happened again. What could be causing this? I know that the WLAN switch was never turned off. Both times, the only thing she was doing was browsing the Internet. |
