Question Connecting WLAN b/g with an n router
Will a N router connect with a windows vista B/G WLAN? If so, then will the speed be faster or the same as a b/g connection will be and what would be the best router to get?

the speed will be at whatever the lowest connection is - so if you use a B that 11, G 54 etc
But you need to set the router up to support mix types (they have a drop down for this in most) otherwise it will only work with N if set for N

I cant suggest a particular make, I'll wait for one of the netwrok gurus to answer and reply

I use a Linksys WRT160N and its setup for MIXED under wireless settings to support multiple devices like xbox, gameboys, laptops running B, G and N with no issues.
