Wireless Network Unavailable
My laptop is a Sony Vaio. I have recently been experiencing issues where it will be connected to the internet and then all of a sudden it tells me Wireless Network Unavailable and my LAN light is not lit up any longer. All of my other equipment, laptops, ipod touches, and wii all hook up to the internet fine and maintain their connections. Do you think my wireless card could have gone bad? Or is it something else? Thank you.

It could be the wireless switch, if you wiggle the switch, does the wireless spring to life?

I tried that and sometimes the light for that switch will light up when I do that but it doesn't stay lit and then all of a sudden it will be connected once I leave it alone. Usually about 15 min
or so.

Sounds like the switch is indeed defective. This is a hardware issue, the switch will have to be replaced.
