my broadband connection is no longer working on my laptop. I'm connected wirelessly to my router, but for some reason i can't hard line in any more. my 1394 connection says connected, but it really isn't. When i try to repair the connection i get this: TCP/IP is not enabled. All the properties of this connection are "checked" and set to automatic detection.

The 1394 connection is a Firewire connection and won't help you any.
Your ethernet connection indicates "Disconnected".
Look in Device Manager/Network adapters and see if it's been disabled, or the driver is missing.
