hi, no looked at your link. i cant find a recovery disc back up. there is a back up bit but it wont back anything up keeps erroring. it doesnt matter ill not back it up. . thankyou so much for your help

1) how to create the CDs
2) How to order if you dont have the facility to create or have a disk

not really about backup

hi, ok

i click link you game me. clicked creating the recovery disc, i then clicked start, programs and no3. all in that section i couldnt find in my laptop about hp cd creator. so i looked in systems tools and it said a back up section but that kept erroring. thats what i mean.

looked in all the program section on my laptop but i cannot find create a recovery cd anywhere. many thanks

Not all HP machines had HP recovery manager my laptop dv5000 does not - but it did come witha set of Cds
