You need to install the drivers on EVERY machine that will access the printer. Yes, the drivers come with the printer, and updates are free. I just downloaded and installed the Windows 7 driver updates for my HP C7280. HP now has drivers for that machine for XP, Vista (32 & 64), and Windows 7 (32 & 64), as well as older Windows I believe. Drivers shouldn't be a problem.
