Yes sorry there should have been a “ at the end of (base). Have done what you have suggested & re-booted “base” & guess what I can now see both Base & Netbook on both computers. Thanks very much. If only I had known that using a long description could cause this type of problem. Who would have thought it, well I suppose I should have after all this is Windows I am using.


Anyway thanks a lot for all the help.

Guess there must be a "buffer overrun" problem somewhere. I never fully trust anything over 8 characters in a DOS based system.
