You need the secruity key for your wireless entered into the PC

That is probably the wireless keyword 8 characters
so on the PC
start
control panel
network connections
right click on the wireless connection
wireless networks tab
click on your wireless name
Properties
there you shouls have WPA
and put in the key password

I've put the password which is located on the bottom of the router into where you said, it then just disappears.

I've managed to sign into my router now, and there are a lot of different settings I dont understand.

if you look at the manual - you will see how to set the secruity for wireless to none

But you will need to remove it from your PC again if you have set that up
