The local device name is already in use
One of our employees in our Huntsville office is having a problem. Every time that they try to save to a Network Drive like K Drive or H Drive they get the message, "Error connecting to "\\server\drive" Microsoft Windows Network. The local device name is already in use. The connection has not been restored". They have restarted several times and it will stop doing it after restart but then it starts back and they have to restart again. They restarted at least 5 times yesterday and today they are going on 3 times.

Sounds like the drive letter in question is already mapped to a resource.

Open a command prompt and type NET USE to see what drive letters are already mapped.

To remove a mapping.

NET USE d: /DELETE

... where d: is the drive letter to be released.

What would have caused that all of a sudden? That computer has had the same mappings for 3 years with no problems and then yesterday it won't go more than an hour or so without a problem.

I have no idea, first step would be to see what the drive letter is mapped to.
