But why do I now have to do this when I did not only a few days before and nothing has changed?

Obviously something has changed, or you'd still be connecting, right?

It's easy to try the suggestion...

I now get the message. "Not enough server storage is available to process the command" Why would I get this error, and how do I fix it?

- Start, Run, REGEDIT
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameter s
- Edit the IRPStackSize
- Set it to a DWORD value of 15 (or more, valid range 11-50)
- NOTE: If IRPStackSize doesn't exist, create a new DWORD entry for it
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
- Set the PagedPoolSize to 0
- Exit REGEDIT and reboot

How do I create the new DWORD for it exactly? Do you have a sample of what it should look like?

Create the variable if it doesn't exist as below, then right click on it and modify it's value, I'd pick say 20 to start.

I use SnagIt screen capture, it allows you to add the balloons and descriptions.

How did you know that would solve the problem, just seen it before or did you find it online somewhere? Thanks so much for the help, those are the kinds of tricks I wish I knew how to do on my own!

I've been doing this for a lot of years. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then.
