Unhappy Share ATT WirelessUSB
Okay, I don't know much about these wireless cards so I'm seeking advice here. I have knowledge of most network settings in XP so if you could get me pointed in the right direction I can probably run with it.

My parents have an ATT wireless usb card because the cable out here is pathetic, I want to share this connection like we used to do with dial up back in the good ol' days. But when I connect a Wireless Card or Network Cable the connection to the ATT GSM turns off.

Is it possible to share an ATT usb card over a network? Maybe a work around? Or is there software pretty fool proof?

Thanks for any help!

I would have thought the same process would work (using Internet Connection Sharing, or ICS). It shouldn't interfere with any other network cards like that.

Some cellular suppliers configure their drivers to inhibit ICS, perhaps AT&T is one of them?

It appears to be so, sadly. As soon as another connection is detected the GSM software says, another connection has been established do you wish to cancel the GSM connection? OK and cancel. Either will quickly disconnect you, amazing programming might I add. I was hoping maybe someone had a work around.

A cellular router is probably the workaround.
