Very annoying port forwarding/blocking problem.
Ever since ive upgraded to windows 7 when i run my crysis dedicated server it always shows up as having a N/A ping in the game server list which most likely means that the port "64100" or some others are being blocked but i have disabled everything that would be blocking them i.e.

Disabled Firewall.

Disabled Antivirus.

Opened all of the ports on my router.

My router is a D-Link DGL-4100 Gaming router

I am still getting no results. The weird thing is that if i take away my router and plug my computer directly into the modem then my server comes up as having a ping which means that all of the nescessary ports are open and that would instantly make you think that the router is blocking the ports. But this could not be the case, the ports were set the same as when i had vista and to make sure they were open i re did the port forwarding and also tried enabling DMZ mode for my pc which in theory should bypass the router's firewall and port settings and connect me straight to the internet with no port blocking but this still didn't fix the problem.

I have no idea at all what the problem is and i cannot think of any explanation of why it is happening. Im thinking its possibly just windows 7 and somehow it just blocks all of my ports when connected to a router which is weird. Or my router happened to magically break at exact same time as when i upgraded to windows 7.

just to confirm, when you enabled the DMZ on the router, you put your IP address in the DMZ?

well since your computer works without the router in place, then it looks like the router is the suspect. perhaps a reset of your router may help.

Also have you tried updating the firmware, if any is available?

I have tried changing the port forwarding settings on the router many times and i have reset my modem and router many times i have also returned my router to factory defaults and the firmware is already updated to the latest version. Its a weird problem because it seems that the router has gotten a problem at the same time as me upgrading to windows 7, i dont know how windows 7 could be affecting the ports while the router is connected but it does seem like a problem with the router but i cant seem to work out what is wrong with it if anything.
