Mobile internet Dongles.
Here's something I want to know.

Why - when we have all the Mobile Technology - do we not have a plain Dongle Modem that you put your SIM into (any Network), plug into the USB and instant Connection to the Web? At the moment you can get them - but they are all on a Contract - or you have to trawl through Ebay or something. Mobile Technology isn't exactly in its infancy and you think that by now you could go into a Phone Shop and buy one for a few Pounds like you can for SMHD Card readers. At the moment you have to rely on a Mobile that either runs off Battery or needs another Mains Lead. A USB Modem Dongle eliminates both!

Yes and no. Yes in that this is the Technology I refer to, no in that they are not Dongles that you can plug your existing SIM Card into.
