One way networking?
I have a new Sony VAIO w/ Windows 7. I'm trying to connect to a Vista 64 bit. I got the new Sony out of the box, put in my WEP key and away I went. I was able to map network drives between them both at first. Then I was messing around with adding/removing software & trying new locations for the router to get a better signal. I then was unable to map drives from my VAIO to the Vista. I could however map drives from my Vista to my VAIO. I kept trying different things, looked at all Mcafee settings on each & they all matched up. There is only slight diff in Windows 7 & Vista settings. I tried hardwiring & wireless to the Vista, wireless to the VAIO. I then tried a new Cisco N router, same thing. The Vista always shows up on my VAIO map, but the VAIO sometimes shows on the Vista. I'm sure it's a simple setting somewhere I'm missing, but I've looked everywhere. The drives on both computers are set for sharing with all permissions to everyone. Any Ideas?

Disable ALL firewalls and try to get it working. You are describing the classic firewall configuration issue.
